About
The vineyard of Altos de Torona is located on a hill, overlooking the River Miño and near the Atlantic Ocean. It is an illusion of childhood that has become the largest single-piece vineyard in Rías Baixas. It is situated on a single plot of 100 hectares, where the Albariño grape is mainly grown, as well as other native varieties such as Caíño, Godello or Loureira. The winemaker is Pablo Ibáñez, third-generation of winemakers in his family, master in Viticulture and member of the tasting committees of several Denominations of Origin.
The quality of the ecosystem of the Altos de Torona’s vineyard is recognized by the seal of Integrated Production and by the seal of Biodiversity, both oenological projects that contribute to the conservation of the environment.
