Description:

The 2015 vintage is characterized by its bright lime color, with hints of green plum. On the nose, there are aromas of mango, pineapple and lychee together with wild flowers and balsamic notes of eucalyptus. On the palate, its Atlantic character reveals itself through fresh salinity, mineral nuances and tropical fruit flavors.

The harvest date is carefully chosen and on that very day all the clusters pass through the sorting table where any clusters with imperfections are removed from the process. This year 18% of the production was rejected. The selected grapes are macerated with CO2 for 24 hours to obtain clean, highly aromatic musts. Slow, controlled fermentation produces the characteristic salinity of Mar de Frades.
