Valdamor was founded in 1990 in the heart of the Salnús Valley in DO Rías Baixas. Located in Pontevedra, this winery produces wines that offer the maximum expression of the Albariño grape by placing the integrity of the varietal character first. Valdamor's name comes from an old Galician legend: two lovers from enemy families planted a vine that grew as their love intensified. This vine produced delicious grapes with an unprecedented flavor. Locals called this valley the "Valley of Love." In 2003, the winery was modernized, adding dynamism to the process and guaranteeing a unique quality and style for the wines. Today Valdamor is a notable winery for the DO Rías Baixas.
