Tasting Notes: An intense varietal personality: brilliantly straw yellow color, and powerful citrus and floral aroma, beside aromas of white fresh fruit. A fresh, full and silky mouth feel that finishes with spicy citrus and orchard fruit flavors.
Winery:
Pazo San Mauro
Condado do Tea sub-zone
Pazo San Mauro was established in 1988 and is located in the Condado do Tea sub-zone on a property dating back to the 16th century, which includes a chapel built in 1591 in honor of San Mauro. In 2003 the winery was bought by Grupo Vinicola Marques de Vargas, which resulted in significant investment in the vineyards and winery. The vineyards are mainly planted with Albariño, along with some Loureiro and Treixadura. Wines (100% Albarino) are marketed under the Pazo San Mauro label.
