The winery "Adegas Arousa" is named for the locally renowned Ría de Arosa, in tribute to this historic, geographic zone. The area has a high-end gastronomic tradition that results in many excellent pairings for Albariño wines. The winery is located in the heart of the Salnés Valley, between the slopes of Mount Cabalos and Umia.
Thewinery was created in 1999 as social initiativeby three young entrepreneurial winegrowers with roots in the area. The Albariño vineyards have been meticulously planted resulting in a remarkable wine project.
