With this year’s festival becoming a virtual celebration, we decided to make it a monthlong affair! Be sure to follow Rías Baixas throughout the month of August to dive into Albariño month with some of our favorite creators.

We’ve also curated the perfect summer pairings for your Albariño festivities, thanks to some amazing sommeliers and fans of the region

Celebrated each year in the Rías Baixas wine city of Cambados, the Albariño Festival includes a host of activities for attendees to enjoy, including tastings, wine seminars, concerts, street entertainment, music, traditional folklore, and open-air parties. The festive atmosphere in this small, coastal town is filled with a buzzing, fun-filled energy, plenty of bright colors, and of course, numerous bottles of wine. This year, the festival is going virtual – details to be announced!

Host your own fiesta by sharing a bottle of Rías Baixas Albariño with your family and friends. Just add food and a playlist that inspires good vibes, and you’re all set. To help you, here are a few perfect summer pairings courtesy of some great somms and friends of Rías Baixas.
