Nessa
The wine is produced from purchased grapes from vineyards averaging 25 years old. Winemaker, Enrique Pieiro works with around 30 small growers in the Val do Salnús sub-region of Rías Baixas, some with holdings as small as 1.2 acres .All of the fruit for this wine is hand harvested in small boxes. After cluster sorting the grapes are whole cluster pressed in a pneumatic press, followed by settling of the must for 24 to 34 hours. The wine was fermented at 64 ºF in stainless steel tanks. There is no malolactic fermentation in this wine.
