DO Rías Baixas participated in the 2025 TEXSOM Awards, receiving six awards for the appellation’s wines. The awards aim to elevate the industry, with 1,031 medals awarded across various categories this year, including special recognition for outstanding entries through the Judges’ Selection and Best of Show awards. The event featured 30 expert judges and a media team that captured the highlights of this prestigious competition.

Rías Baixas accolades include Attis Bodegas y Viñedos 2022 (Platinum Medal); Terras Gauda 2023 (Judges’ Selection Medal); Villarei 2023 (Gold Medal); Burgans 2023 and Mar de Frades 2023 (Silver Medal); and Paco & Lola 2018 (Bronze Medal.) 

Rías Baixas sponsored a dinner for the jury and TEXSOM team to elevate the region’s presence. Alisha Calvert-Blackwell, a 2023 Misión Inversa attendee, presented the region’s wines, sharing personal anecdotes that highlighted its exciting developments. This event offered a unique opportunity to engage influential industry professionals and showcase the diverse styles of Rías Baixas.
