In September, Rías Baixas welcomed five leading U.S. sommeliers for an immersive Misión Inversa experience. Over several days, the group visited top wineries, met with winemakers, and explored the full expression of Albariño through guided tastings and regional cuisine. Participants also experienced the harvest firsthand—walking the vineyards, tasting Albariño grapes right before pressing, and witnessing the winemaking process at its most exciting moment. This journey provided a deeper understanding of the traditions, terroir, and hospitality that define D.O. Rías Baixas.
