Altos de Torona is one of the largest single vineyard estates in Rías Baixas, with 232 acres (94 hectares) planted on the south-facing slopes of Monte Galeno in the Tomiño district of O Rosal. The hillside vines are sub-divided into plots that overlook the Miño River in close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. Committed to estate-grown wines with a respect for biodiversity, Altos de Torona is primarily focused on Albariño, as well as other native varieties such as Caíño Blanco, Godello, Loureira and Treixadura.
The quality of the ecosystem of the Altos de Torona’s vineyard is recognized by the seal of Integrated Production and by the seal of Biodiversity, both ecological projects that contribute to the conservation of the environment.
