Castrobrey is a
family winery founded by José Castro Brey and Isabel Pereiro in 1983. Building on three generations of experience, the winery represents the model of the perfect
fusion of artisan production with the most advanced techniques
of cold maceration and controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
The winery is located
in Ulla Subarea, 12 miles from Santiago de Compostela. It is a warmer valley with a tradition of granite viticulture. Castrobrey is supplied
with 22.2 hectares of own vines trained on high trellises, where Albariño, Treixadura, Godello , Torrontés whites as well as red Caiño and Mencia are cultivated.
